The Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Croatia with great pleasure invites you to the Regional Political Youth Network Conference for Young Politicians and Activists: RECONCILING THE PAST, BUILDING THE FUTURE which will be organized from 10th to 13th May 2023 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Are you a young politician or activist from the Western Balkans looking to build your network, expand your knowledge, and make a positive impact in your region?
Join us for a regional conference focused on human rights, democratic values, regional cooperation, and reconciliation. At this conference, you will hear from expert speakers, participate in interactive workshops, develop your skills and knowledge in the aforementioned area and connect with a diverse range of young political leaders and young activists from across the region. Apply and be part of an event that is working towards a brighter, more peaceful, and more prosperous future for the Western Balkans!
This conference is a platform for your professional growth, with workshops and lectures designed to help you develop your skills and create positive social change in your communities.
Come and meet amazing young people interested and involved in politics from various organizations and parties and take part in shaping the future of the region.
During the conference, the Political Youth Network General Assembly will also take place. Political organizations that would like to join the network and PYN member organizations are going to receive the agenda for the Assembly and other information in a timely manner.
Who can apply?
Our conference welcomes politically active youth from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia. This includes members of youth organizations within political parties and young activists. We encourage organizations to send their younger members who may not have had the chance to network internationally with their peers. It’s important to note that membership in the Political Youth Network is not required to attend the conference.

Selection criteria
Please have in mind that only one person can represent your political party or organization. The motivation will be the basis for the selection criteria.
Logistical information
The Youth Initiative for Human Rights will cover all expenses associated with travel, accommodation, and food.
The working language of the conference is English.
