As a part of the Social Innovators project, we have just published an extended version of the Toolkit for Mentors in English, which is available for use and sharing for all those who want to offer a structured Apprenticeship program in civil society organizations. The toolkit is one of the products of the Apprenticeship program in civil society organizations, currently involving over 80 mentors from more than 40 CSOs all around Croatia. The program is also piloting in Bulgaria and Slovenia.
The Apprenticeship program and the Toolkit will assist mentors in civil society organizations to strengthen their mentorship skills and to produce an 80-hour program that can be adjusted and used for mentoring new people who are introduced to their organizations such as volunteers, workers, or associates. We hope that this program and toolkit will have a long-term positive effect on the way the youth, new workers, and volunteers are introduced to CSOs.
