On Monday, October 17, 2022, together with our project partner, the Gong Association, we presented two publications, Handbook for Young Activists and Advocacy Organizations and Practical Guide for Work with Youth: Program and Methodology created as part of the ERASMUS+ project POJAM. The presentation was held at 5 p.m. in the Cultural Information Center (KIC) at Preradovićeva 5, in Zagreb.

The manual for young activists and advocacy organizations is intended for young people who want to learn more about public policies and advocacy, but also for all those who deal with these topics in their work with young people. Practical guide for working with young people: Program and Methodology was created with the aim of facilitating the organization of informal education programs, both for young people without experience and for experienced organizers of various events for children, young people, and all other events that gather a large number of people. Both materials are available in digital form for free download and contain interactive content and many useful materials, so we encourage you to take a look at them and use them in your work!

The day after, on Tuesday, October 18, at 5 p.m., Initiative and Gong in KIC held another public presentation organized as part of the already mentioned POJAM project. At this event, the video game Stop Your Government was presented to the audience. It is an activist game that deals with issues of labor, reproductive and environmental rights. The guest at this presentation was Aleksandar Gavrilović from the video game development studio Gamechuck, who gave his review of the game and introduced the audience to the world of the video game industry, which includes numerous challenges related to labor rights, equality and social justice.

After the presentation, a discussion with the audience followed on both days, which continued after the official part through networking and socializing.
